PROOFREADING
This service concerns the revision of different types of text, such as
e-mails, essays, theses, dissertations, brochures, websites etc.
The revision will be performed from a grammatical point of view, taking into consideration the correct use of syntax (i.e the links between the individual elements of the sentences as subject-verb-complement), semantics (the meaning of the words), spelling and terminology used. My job is to fix all those slightly ambiguous or inconclusive phrases you don’t know how to fix.
What I do is a complete, attentive and professional proofreading service that will allow you to have a text ready for publication.
There are two types of proofreading:
Paper form
Electronic form
In a world that relies almost exclusively on “online relationships” I suggest you choose the second type, the electronic one. The reasons are simple: speed, practicality and immediacy. But let’s see how these two ways of perceiving the proofreading differ.
The paper form consists in sending the text to be revised in a paper format by mail or in digital format via email (it will be my job to print it later). The proofreading will then materially follow using a pen on the paper form, the corrected draft will be subsequently sent by priority mail. In terms of timing, you have to consider from 15 to 30 working days for this type of proofreading, a time interval that may vary depending on the source text.
The other type of proofreading is the digital one, also the most practical one. The text in this case will be sent to me by email in a digital format of your choice (the most frequently used are the Word .docx format or the PDF format). At this point, you can choose between two types of proofreading:
If you had to choose this type of proofreading, the final version will be sent exclusively via email to the address you gave me.
The service is available for texts both in Italian and in foreign languages, specifically: English, French and German.
